8th grade fieldtrip and promotion activities May 16, 2012 Dear Parents, Thank you so very much too all our parents for making the Taylor Teacher Appreciation Week a huge success. The teachers and staff truly appreciate the activities, especially the luncheon, flowers and gifts! A special thank you goes to Natalie Esposto for coordinating all the events. This Thursday, our Taylor Music students will be venturing to Anaheim to compete in the Heritage Music festival. We are very proud of Mr. McGaw and his students for their hard work and commitment. The music sounds wonderful! Students attending the trip will go to their 1-4 period classes this Thursday. During the afternoon, music students will load the buses and head south to Anaheim. The buses will return Sunday. We are asking parents and students who use the Taylor Homework Center to complete a brief survey by May 23. (Click Here for Parent Survey) This is extremely important since our yearly funding depends on your input. Please return completed surveys to the Taylor Homework Center in the library or school office. Student surveys can be completed online by accessing the link in the Homework Center. See parent survey below, (English & Spanish). Please turn in survey to the office. 8th grade Parents: Please review and return the 8th grade fieldtrip form and money to your child’s 8th grade English teacher. The field trip is next Wednesday, May 23. All students must meet at the H -Wing Parking Lot by 7:00 am. Buses leave 7:15 sharp! They will return at approximately 6 pm. Students should pack a lunch, drink and extra money for they would like to play games or ride rides at the Beach Boardwalk. 6th and 7th grade parents: Your student should have asked you to review and sign their 2012-13 elective sheets. Please review and have your child to return to his/ her core teacher by this Friday. Copies of elective forms are posted on the website. Thank you to those parents who have returned the T-Dap verification of immunization. If you have not turned in the form, please turn in to the school office as soon as possible. Your child will not be able to attend school without this documentation.
Looking way ahead …..
